Barry is all about detail and process. His goal is to take a focused, structured approach to development, and values the methodical process of any project. His passion is to carefully consider all details in order to execute a plan that works for all stakeholders. Inspired by the urban vibrancy of other big cities, Barry is interested in how land use can shape and create homes and communities.
Originally with an eye to completing a Masters in Forestry, a co-op term at the Ministry of Transportation gave him a different perspective and he swiftly changed direction. In addition to working within the provincial government, Barry worked with major real estate developers Concord Pacific, Aquilini Development and Construction and Amacon. With an educational background in Geography, Urban Studies and Business Administration, Barry has a well-rounded view of development and the ways in which it impacts people.
Barry is a North Shore original, and enjoys living and working in his own community. When it comes to weekends and time outside of work, Barry enjoys travelling, cooking, fine dining, and playing in the backyard with his two daughters.
